What’s the role of patience in handling relationship challenges?

In my marriage, patience saved us many times. My husband is quick-tempered, and I am slow to react. When he gets upset, I stay calm and let him cool down. After some hours, we talk normally. That patience gives space for understanding. Honestly, patience is like oil that keeps the machine smooth.

Patience is huge. Sometimes fights happen only because one person reacts too fast. If we pause, breathe, and wait before replying, the argument becomes softer. Without patience, small issues become very big.
