Which government exams are best for 12th pass students with science background?

I would suggest going for technical posts in defence. With PCM, you can apply for Air Force Group Y (technical). It is adventurous and gives stable career. Railways also hire for technician posts where science knowledge is useful.

Science students can also try for Forest Guard, Lab Attendant, or Health Department jobs. These jobs often prefer candidates with science subjects. You should keep checking your state PSC notifications regularly.

From my side, SSC exams like CHSL are safe and best. Even though science background is not compulsory, your maths knowledge will help. Defence jobs are more physically demanding, so choose according to interest.
