I applied for GDS after 12th. There was no exam, only merit list based on marks. It is one of the easiest entry-level government jobs. So yes, such jobs exist without exam.

In some states, class IV jobs like office attendant, sweeper, or driver are filled without exam. They only use interview or document verification. So if you don’t want exam, target such recruitments.

Jobs like Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) in postal department don’t have written exam. Selection is based on marks of 10th or 12th. Some ward assistant and peon posts in hospitals also don’t require exam. It depends on department.
