They create educational documentaries on specific individuals, primarily focusing on publicly released recordings of their interviews or interrogations by police, where they analyze their individual behaviors and explain the mindset, actions, and techniques of the officers/interrogators involved. There is also a second channel, which also uploads true crime documentaries.

Their oldest videos are a three-part documentary regarding Colorado oil field operator Christopher Lee Watts, who killed his family in 2018. The first part provides an overview of the incidents leading up to Chris's first interrogation and his initial questioning, the second part encompasses his lie detector test and an overview of the "directed lie" polygraph test used, and the third part closes with Watts' confession and attempt to blame his wife for the murders.

JCS's currently most-viewed video, titled "What pretending to be crazy looks like," focuses primarily on the interrogation of Stoneman Douglas High School shooter Nikolas Cruz, and his attempt at feigning mental illness after his arrest in order to attempt to escape or minimize his punishment. It also more broadly discusses common misconceptions surrounding "pleading insanity" in the U.S. criminal justice system, including samples of interrogations of murder suspects in two other unrelated cases.

In January 2022, a lot of JCS's most popular videos got removed by YouTube and his channel got striked. A community post was made talking the situation, as well as a short video that was uploaded to the second channel. A lot of big streamers and YouTubers like HasanAbi, Unbox Therapy, xChocoBars, and Boze made statements in support of JCS. Unfortunately, despite the massive community outcry in support of JCS, YouTube refused to reinstate the videos and remove JCS's strikes. JCS posted a tweet confirming that an exit strategy is on the works, meaning that the YouTube channel will be abandoned and they'll move on to a different platform.

However in January 19th, their most popular video "What pretending to be crazy looks like" and others were brought back up. JCS posted a tweet thanking everyone for support and the four member crew at YouTube that looked at their case. The tweet also confirms a "major repayment" in the works for their supporters. As it now stands, it looks like JCS will continue to post on YouTube. However, some of their videos, such as "Christmas with Cliff", as well as several have yet to be reinstated on the platform, and several more videos on the second channel, such as "The Night Kaylee Went Missing", have been taken down. The tweet that thanked the crew at YouTube and confirmed a fan repayment has seemingly been deleted.

On December 12th, 2022, JCS uploaded a video titled "Yeardley's ex-boyfriend" after a year-long hiatus.
