Will Tata Curvv EV come with Level 2 ADAS features?
This is still unclear, but likely yes - at least in top variants. Tata has been developing ADAS technology and the Curvv EV would be the perfect platform to introduce it. Level 2 ADAS typically includes features like:- Adaptive cruise control- Lane keeping assist- Automatic emergency braking- Blind spot monitoringGiven that competitors like MG and Hyundai are offering ADAS in this segment, Tata will probably include it to stay competitive. However, it might be reserved for the top-end variant to justify the premium pricing.
Based on spy shots showing camera modules and radar sensors in the prototypes, it appears ADAS is definitely coming to the Curvv EV. The question is whether it will be available from launch or introduced later. Tata might take a phased approach - launching initially without ADAS to keep prices competitive, then introducing an ADAS variant 6-12 months later. The hardware seems to be there, so it's probably a software calibration and validation exercise. Given Indian road conditions, Tata will want to ensure their ADAS works reliably before release.
