Working in AutoCAD I need to find the exact XY coordinate values of a specific point like the corner of a rectangle. Which command or status bar setting displays these coordinates in the model space?

I prefer using Object Snap (OSNAP) with Endpoint enabled. Click exactly on the corner, then type LIST and select the object. AutoCAD will show the precise coordinates for every key point. It’s more accurate than eyeballing the cursor on the status bar.

Super simple in AutoCAD. You can use the ID Point command: type ID and press Enter, then click the point. AutoCAD will display the X, Y, (and Z if in 3D) coordinates in the command line.

Another way: hover your cursor over the corner or point—look at the status bar in the lower-right. Make sure Coordinates or Dynamic Input is turned on, and you’ll see live X,Y values as you move the mouse.
