How to check if my phone is 5g?
Easiest way is to check in your phone Settings. Go to Settings, then find Mobile Network or SIM card settings. Inside that, look for ‘Preferred network type’. If you see 5G in the list of options, then your phone is 5G ready.
Another way is to check the box your phone came in. It will have 5G written on it. You can also just google your phone model name with "5G". For example, "Redmi Note 12 5G". Remember, you also need a 5G plan from Jio or Airtel and be in a 5G coverage area to use it.
Another way is through Google search. Just type your phone’s exact model followed by “specs.” Example: Samsung Galaxy A52 specs. Scroll down and check “Network” section—it will list 5G bands if supported.
