How to set your PC games' graphical settings

The icons appear on your screen when the game is being recorded. You are always recording your game for the "Instant Replay" feature.

The last five minutes of your game can be saved with the "Instant Replay" feature. If you want, you can change the number of minutes you save.

When you play a game and something interesting happens, you can open the game and save it to your computer. Nothing will ever be saved to your hard drive and the temporary buffer will be thrown away if you don't tell GeForce Experience to save your game.

It works the same way as the automatic game recording feature on the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.

This is only one way to record the game. If you want to use the "Record" feature only when you want to manually record something, you can disabling Instant replay and then opening the overlay. You can still see and use the Share overlay even if you don't see the notification or icons.

To hide the game notification popup from appearing every time you launch a game, you need to use the Share overlay.

The Share overlay can be opened by pressing Alt + Z. You can use this when you're not playing a game: the overlay will show up on your desktop.

On the right side of the template, there is a gear-shaped icon.

Click on the "Notifications" section if you want to know more.

The "open/close sharing" notification should be turned off. The "x" at the top of the screen is where you can close the overlay. The notification won't show up when you launch a game.

You have a few options if you don't want to see the icons. You can hide the icons if you leave Instant Replay enabled.

You need to control the icons from the "share" overlay. To open the app, click the "share" icon to the left of your name.

The "Instant Replay" feature is the only one that is enabled by default.

If you don't want to use Instant Replay, you can change it. This will make the icons disappear as well.

Click the "Instant replay" icon on the template and select "Disable".

If you have enabled other features, you may need to stop them from being used.

There is a message in the upper right corner of the screen.

If you control this setting from within the game, icons will fade out.

You won't have to make this change again for each individual game because the GeForce Experience will remember it. You will have to re-enable Instant Replay before it is disabled system-wide.

The icons can't get in the way of the play if you press Alt + Z.
