How to submit moi to cipc?
- Determine the details surrounding what changes the company would like to make to the MOI.
- Compile and collect all supporting documents necessary for the change.
- Ensure all supporting documents are acceptable to CIPC.
- Apply for the MOI change and submit the supporting documents to CIPC.
With reference to Notice 38 of 2021, customers are advised to take note that in order to minimise delay in the registration of applications submitted via or (mailbox reserved only for use by JSE listed companies and their subsidiaries) for either the:-
If the latest application was registered after 1 June 2014 such is not necessary since CIPC will have an electronic image available of the registered application.

The number of Directors must at all times be within the minimum and maximum number of Directors as specified in the Constitution of the Co-operative.
Should a Director be expelled or a whole board of Directors be replaced with new Directors, this Office will do a verification process which will take a minimum of 14 working days, before the changes will be made on the CIPC database.
Directors are appointed for a term of office in terms of the Constitution of the Co-operative. Should there be changes to the Board of Directors outside the term of office / during a financial year, the CIPC must be informed.
