How to toilet train a puppy in 7 days?
I used puppy pads in the beginning. Kept them near the door, then gradually moved them outside. In 2 weeks, my lab started going outdoors only.
Honestly, 7 days is very tough. Puppies usually need 3–4 weeks to be reliable. Be patient, stay consistent, and don’t expect miracles in one week.
Crate training helps a lot. Puppies avoid soiling their sleeping space. So, use a crate at night, take them out every 2-3 hours during the day, and praise them when they go outside.
Toilet training in 7 days is ambitious but possible with consistent routine:- Take your puppy out first thing in the morning, after meals, and before bed. - Reward with treats immediately after success. - Never punish accidents, just redirect. I trained my beagle in about 10 days with this schedule.
One trick: say a cue word like "go potty" every time your pup is doing it. After a week, they start associating the phrase with the action.
