There are a total of 15 districts in the eastern part of Uttar Pradesh. The names of east UP districts are Mirzapur, Allahabad, Pratapgarh, Bahraich, Gonda, Basti, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Varanasi, Azamgarh, Faizabad, Sultanpur, Gorakhpur, Deoria and Ballia.
