As someone with thousands of hours in Ark, here's my leveling strategy:
- Early Game: Have your dino follow you while you kill things - they get shared XP
- Mid Game: Craft a Note Book and collect explorer notes while riding your dino for that sweet XP multiplier
- Late Game: Hunt Alphas - especially Alpha Raptors and Carnos which are relatively easy to take down with a good tame
Pro tip: If you're on a server with breeding enabled, bred creatures get bonus levels from their parents' stats AND they level up faster than wild-tamed dinos!

Great question for anyone getting into design! A font face (or typeface) is basically the design of lettering - it includes the specific look, style, and characteristics of a set of characters, numbers, and symbols.
Think of it like this: - Typeface = the design family (like Helvetica) - Font = the specific implementation (like Helvetica Bold 12pt)
Two common font families:
- Serif fonts - These have little "feet" or decorative strokes at the ends of letters. Examples include:
- Times New Roman
- Georgia
-
Garamond
-
Sans-serif fonts - "Sans" means without, so these don't have the extra strokes. Examples:
- Arial
- Helvetica
- Calibri
Serif fonts are often considered more traditional and formal, while sans-serif fonts look cleaner and more modern. Most websites these days use sans-serif for body text because it's easier to read on screens!

Manually updating Windows 10 is pretty straightforward! Here's how I do it:
- Click the Start button and go to Settings (the gear icon)
- Select Update & Security → Windows Update
- Click "Check for updates" - this will search for available updates
- If updates are found, click "Download and install"
If you want more control, you can also use the Microsoft Update Catalog:
- Go to https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com
- Search for the specific update you need by KB number
- Download the .msu file and run it as administrator
Pro tip: Sometimes if updates are stuck, I use the Windows Update Troubleshooter (search for it in the Start menu) which fixes common update problems automatically.
Also, make sure you have a stable internet connection and enough free disk space - updates can fail if you're low on space!
