The Dental Care Plan is available at the minimum price of Rs 3006 and offers benefits worth Rs 50000 on dental procedures and treatment without the need for overnight hospitalization, the company website says.

“Fixed benefit ranging from Rs 350 and Rs 7500 per procedure up to a sum assured of Rs 50,000,” information on the website says.

The company, however says that any expenses or claims related to dental treatments during first 24 days of the coverage period shall not be payable, except any claims arising due to accident, provided the same is covered.

The company has also tweeted on its official twitter handle to inform about this to its followers.

“Keeping your Dental Health insured is now possible with the PNB MetLife Dental Care Plan. Now let your smile shine!,” the tweet said.

On unrelated expenses, the company said that expenses, medical or otherwise that are not related to the current dental conditions , ailment or illness will not be covered.

Benefits:

Tax Benefits: The policy holder can avail tax benefits under section 80D of the Income Tax Act, 1961.   Cashless Facility: The insurer promises to pay directly for procedures without customers having to pay by themselves.

Limitations:

The services can be availed only in the network service providers.
