Will there be a Legends mode in Ghost of Yotei for multiplayer?

As of now, no official announcements about a multiplayer Legends mode. The developers seem focused on single-player narrative and open-world experience. That doesn’t rule out future additions, but it’s purely a solo journey at launch.

Yes! Sucker Punch has officially confirmed that a Legends-style cooperative multiplayer mode is in development for Ghost of Yotei. It's not available at launch; they've said it will be released as a free post-launch update, similar to how the original Legends mode was added to Ghost of Tsushima. They haven't given a specific date yet, but they've promised it will build upon the foundation of the original with new classes, missions, and mechanics that take advantage of Yotei's new spirit-based combat system.

This is the best news. The original Legends mode was one of the best surprise multiplayer additions in recent memory. I can't wait to see what they do with the new setting and mechanics. Imagine a class based around the Emishi hunter, or one that specializes in the new Kami Techniques. The Raid missions in the first game were incredible, so the potential for a new one set in the spirit world or on the slopes of Mount Yotei is huge. It's definitely something to look forward to a few months down the line.
