If it had been the middle of winter, I would have had another 7 months to spare.I had a battery that was 12 and a half years old.

I have seen batteries fail in as little as two years and have seen some make five years.

The batteries are usually good for 3 to 5 years. The battery tender is connected to the doors.I have batteries for 7 years. All batteries are produced by 2–3 corporations, so brands don't matter when buying a new battery. The two main things are cranking.A battery with the longest warranty is a better choice.

How it is cared for and the battery quality are other factors.6 months or less to a decade.

It's possible to ruin an automotive battery in less than a day.

Depending on climate, 3 to 6 years is the average.
